Getting connected in Melville

03.06.2014 | Strolling around in Melville, the part of Joburg where I stay this week, I found this café called The ITcorner. A place where you can get IT services together with a good cappuccino and nice food. A place where the geeks meet and where I feel reminded of Die Zentrale – the coworking place in Frankfurt where I go to when I don’t want to work in my office at home. The business model is a bit different here at the ITcorner though: As long as you order something you get free wifi for one hour. So, I am eating and drinking in order to be connected and to write this blog post (yes, my B&B has wifi too, but it’s not as fancy as this place and the wifi is much slower).
